From the very beginning, KRONPRINZ has concentrated its efforts on developing specific technical solutions for the automotive industry.
The company, which was founded in Solingen in 1897, did not exactly invent the wheel as such, but it was the first to produce bicycle rims out of strap iron and to press wheel discs out of steel plates. KRONPRINZ has devoted itself to the production of wheels for passenger cars and trucks ever since. During this time, a successful strategy in development and sales has enabled the company to survive and succeed even under the most difficult circumstances.
Today KRONPRINZ is a company of the mefro wheels group.
The factory in Solingen produces a wide range of wheels for all original equipment manufacturers of passenger cars and trucks. Additionally we offer a complete range for the aftermarket.
